 Another political blog

I haven't done one of this political Blogs in a while, and seeing as how I did my history test the other day and felt I answered the essay question quite well, I'mma post my answer on here for all to read and comment on. Alright? Here we go!

Question: To what extent did U.S. involvement in Vietnam reflect lessons learned in other 20th century wars (including the Cold War)?

Answer:
There were many things about the U.S. involvement in Vietnam that reflected lessons learned in other twentieth-century wars. There was mostly one thing that reflected lessons learned in other twentieth-century wars. I will discuss that main thing in a following paragraph. In the following paragraphs of the essay, I shall discuss how U.S. involvement in Vietnam reflected lessons learned in other twentieth-century wars.

I believe the Cold War was the only major twentieth-century war that was actually any use at all to world relations. In the Vietnam War, we pulled out of battle too quickly and left behind a lot of POWs. When we pulled out of the war, we were pretty much giving up and going back home with our tail tucked between our legs. All those men who died over there in Vietnam died in vain because our President didn’t want to stick it out over there. We lost the war, many lives, and didn’t solve a single thing.

We pretty much did the same thing in Korea and Desert Storm. In Korea, the South Koreans asked us to help, so we tried to. We went over to Korea to help the South Koreans defeat the North Koreans, but it never happened. We really didn’t improve international relationships with Korea with that war, either. North Korea eventually overcame South Korea after we pulled out of the war and all of our fighting was for not.

In Desert Storm, yet again, we gave up before our business was finished. We did not lose the war but we didn’t finish our business of why we were originally fighting. That is partly why we’re fighting against Iraq right now. Just like Vietnam and just like Korea, we pulled out too early and before our business was finished. Our twentieth-century wars seem rather repetitive that way.

So in closing, I feel that Vietnam did indeed reflect many of our other twentieth-century wars in the respect that I feel we pulled out of the fight too quickly. It was as if we were throwing in the towel and saying “We give up!” I feel that in all of these wars, many men and women undeservingly died in vain. We did not finish our business in many of these wars and most didn’t do anything to help international relations. If anything, they made them worse.

Please pray for me and my hamster, Jacques

I know this may sound stupid to some, but two days ago, my hamster had his head cocked to one side and wouldn't look straight. His eyes were always looking up and he kept swirling and running in circles, rolling around and such.

We took him to the vet yesterday. The vet diagnosed him with one of two things: A thing called star-gazer syndrome (which mostly occurs in rabbits, but it means that he has an inner-ear bacterial infection and is all turned around, not knowing what is up) or a brain tumor.

If it's a tumor, he's as good as dead. The only way to be SURE that it's a tumor would be an MRI, and we're not dishing out money to give a hamster an MRI, no matter how much I love him. But we're hoping it's a bacterial infection (which he could also die from if we hadn't given him medication).

It seems to be a bacterial infection because the doctor gave him a shot of meds yesterday to get it flowing quicker and it seems to be taking because he's starting to walk up-right a bit and he's willing to stand up straight here and there. I just gave him his first dose of medication (0.1 mL of some watered down medicine) just about 15 minutes ago and he's sound asleep now. That medication seems to be making him tired, because he slept all day yesterday. But at least it's making him better.

I have been sick as well for about 2 weeks and have NO idea what my problem is. The doctor diagnosed me with a bad sinus infection (which I chronically get) last week and gave me meds, and the meds never helped and I'm not as sick and tired as ever. UGH! My mother is freaking out (because that's what she does) and I'm feeling bad about being sick. Not a good combination to be depressed and sick.

But my main concern is my hamster, Jacques von Hamsterveel. I know, it's a weird name, but I got it from "Lilo & Stitch". Anyway, I'm just really concerned for him. PLEASE pray for us BOTH and thank you if you're REALLY reading this and are REALLY concerned. Holla at cha boi!

Harlot. How could she be so heartless?

I'm back on the market. I'm single again. Why? Because of a harlot named Krystal! She went out behind my back two days ago and had sex with her ex boyfriend. Then she acted all sweet and lovey dovey to me over the phone about it that night and told me how much she loved me and yadda yadda. Then on Sunday (yesterday), she tells me that she doesn't love me like she used to and she loves her ex more and wants to be with him. Even though her parents FORBID HER from seeing him, she went out and had sex with him behind MY BACK, CHEATED ME, and then dumped ME! How wrong is that? I loved this girl. Or atleast I thought I did. I was wrong. And she said she loved me. She lied. Now she's saying that she lied to me about the whole thing. Is she telling the truth? If so, then why would she say all these things? I don't know. I don't care. But she did this to intentionally hurt me. And this is complete and utter bull crap! I believe she did lie to me. She didn't have sex with him. But she did lie to me about it. She told me that to hurt me. She is afraid of commitment and therefore decided to hurt me. She said that I was too lovey for her. What the hell is that? She wanted me to be all "Whatever" when talking to her? I was trying to be a friend and a boyfriend! I guess that wasn't good enough. Excuse me for loving her!

 A Supernatural Gag Reel

This is the gag reel from my FAVORITE SHOW OF ALL TIME: "Supernatural"! :-D This is mostly from last season, I believe. It is the second season, for those of you that don't watch the show. Dean is played by Jensen Ackles and Sam is played by Jared Padelaki. It is kind of ironic that Sam's brother is named Dean because, for those of you who watch "Gilmore Girls", you should know that Jared (who plays Sam) played a former boyfriend of Rory's named Dean in "Gilmore Girls". Odd, huh? Either way, enjoy!
